Eurecat

Eurecat is the major Technology Centre in Catalonia and a reference agent in the Catalan innovation network TECNIO. Eurecat accounts for more than 450 professionals and over 100 high-level strategic projects. Eurecat provides the industrial and business sector with differential technology and advanced expertise, it offers solutions to their innovation needs and boosts their competitiveness in a fast-paced environment. The range of services offered by the centre are primarily focused on: applied R&D, technological services, information technology consulting, highly specialised training, product and service development and promotion and distribution of technological innovation. Eurecat participation in ARSI includes the Robotics and Automation Group and Audiovisual Technologies Group. The RA Group focuses on applied research on complex task automation in ground and aerial robots including sensor data fusion, seamless positioning and navigation and perception capabilities. This Eurecat’s Group is an active member of euRobotics AISBL, leads the Autonomous Navigation Group and also participates in International Working Groups for the Standardization of Interfaces and Development Tools for Unmanned Systems. To its turn, the AT Group will contribute to ARSI with its strong background in image processing and virtual visualization focusing on computer-based image and vision processing technologies for multi-source and multi-view content providing a solution oriented towards promoting access to different typologies and quantities of information by means of interactive visual representation in real time.
