Bielefeld Research Institute for Cognition and Robotics (CoR-Lab)

The Bielefeld Research Institute for Cognition and Robotics (CoR-Lab) combines research in cognitive robotics, artificial intelligence and cognitive systems engineering to pave the way for the development of future robot technologies. Research topics include the application of machine learning algorithms for the dextrous movement generation, cognitive processing, and the integration of robotic skills into complex cognitive architectures. CoR-Lab contributes to the “it’s OWL” German national leading-edge cluster in “intelligent technical systems”, and is a technology hub for bridging the gap between science and industry in the local region Ostwestfalen-Lippe and beyond, together with strong partners such as Miele, Honda Research, or the Harting Technology group.
